An exciting five year plan is well underway at thankQ. We have rebranded and refurbished our offices, building the platform for continued growth and recruitment. We continue to work with a broad range of over 200 organisations across the not for profit sector, including many household names. And in redeveloping our software platform to the next generation of Microsoft technology, we are providing our staff with a range of opportunities to develop technically and professionally.
Our growth is underpinned by the strong emphasis we place on the development and welfare of staff and our BS8555 environmental accreditation shows that we continue to work hard to make a positive impact on society and the environment.

At work...
A work-life balance sounds like a good sentence to put on the careers page but what does it really mean?
At thankQ it means being happy in your work, and having time outside of work to enjoy the rest of your life. We won't drop a pile of work on you at 5pm. We won't send you to Timbuktu at a moment's notice. We don't mind if you need to nip off early. We just want you to do your job, and do it well. We'll make sure you are given a framework to develop your professional interests with regular reviews and mentoring. We want to make sure you are not only confident in your role, but 100% supported within your professional development.
We care about our team enjoying a work-life balance. We have a Staff Development programme which provides a framework for everyone to flourish in their career. Whatever the area of interest, we encourage our team to look beyond their day-to-day job and develop a range of new skills.
outside of work...
Our team are actively encouraged to explore their own initiatives, both in and outside of work. And we seek to attract individuals that also embrace the ethics of our CSR policy - taking care of the environment and making a difference socially. Our staff volunteering scheme encourages people to take up to three days a year to help local organisations - doing good and providing an opportunity for them to develop personally.
thankQ is also a member of Leicestershire Cares, our branch of Business in the Community which provides a range of opportunities for us to get involved with the community - reading with children in schools, providing interview practice and pro bono IT advice. Our CSR strategy has grown out of suggestions from our staff about what we think we should be doing, and we're happy for the ideas to keep on coming!

There is a really relaxed and enjoyable working environment here at thankQ, which makes coming into work a much less daunting prospect than other places I’ve worked.
